should we be good at school?

Being good at school is a hard thing to do. Another good question is should we be good at school? But the more important question is, why should we be good at school? Schools are teaching us to work alone, think inside the box and not use our imagination, but is this the right way to do it? My opinion on schooling is that it is very important for many vital skills like reading, writing, math, science and all the other important subjects when we are younger. When we are though with typical schooling we think alone, not creatively and as if there is only one answer, but is this the right way to do things? I think that we should have more cooperative learning and we should be tough to learn in a group rather than alone because that is how we will be working later in life.

Another major problem that school teaches us is to think non-creatively. Schools teach us to be within the mold and to do things the way that people have been doing it before. Many times this is not the answer and you have to look outside the box to find an answer, because when you are working at your job you can’t find the answer in a textbook.
